Training for Front Line Professionals

CHILD TRAFFICKING PREVENTION TRAINING (18/09/14 and 02/10/14)

Following the recent publicity surrounding the cases of child sexual exploitation in Rotherham, Merton Against Trafficking (MAT) in conjunction with ECPAT (End Child Prostitution and Trafficking) present a half day of training for frontline professionals working with children and young people.

It is even more important for us as a professional community here in Merton to be able to understand the issue and recognise the indicators of trafficking.

These half day courses delivered by leading experts in the field are free to any professional working in the borough of Merton.  Although there is a focus on children and young people, the introduction would be appropriate for individuals wanting to know more about human trafficking and would create a great springboard in terms of learning more.
